Beacham Group supporting Putt4Dough for 10th year to raise money for Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation

Beacham Group are proud to continue our tradition of supporting Putt4Dough (P4D) for the tenth year. P4D is Perth’s ICT community charity golf day raising much needed funds for PCHF to ensure WA children continue to receive world class paediatric care to live healthy and happy lives.

This year, over 220 golfers participated in the 18-hole charity event held on the 24th November at Joondalup Golf Course, Perth, raising over $54,000!

The team at Beacham have supported P4D for several years, and during this time have helped raise over $490,000 for the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation (PCHF). These funds have provided an opportunity to purchase equipment including a state-wide Retcam to screen the eyes of babies at high risk of blindness, and an Early Intensive Investigation Program for kids at risk of Cerebral Palsy.

On another perfect spring day at Joondalup Golf Resort, players enjoyed some “fine” golf, strange(r) player antics, several lost balls and no one taking home the hole in one prize. Players were privileged to listen to guest speaker Michael Colliss – author, writer, sports commentator, and member of the first Australian Sudoku Team – who was captivating and hilarious. All in all it was a fantastic day organised by the Western Australian Information Technology and Telecommunications Alliance (WAITTA).  Thanks again to Colin Jansen and Simon Whitehead for their event management skills.

Congratulations to this years’ winners from DXC for taking out the win, by a frog’s hair!
